Daily Menu, May 21
This hitch is more than half done. We are on the 3rd fish Friday, with one more to go this time . Next hitch we should be on the way north looking for ice to break.
On today’s menu we have a Lancastershire Hot Pot. It is a baked stew,(casserole ), with meat, gravy and sliced potatoes. This was traditionally made with lamb, well, really mutton. I have substituted beef as it is generally more accepted that lamb or mutton.
