Apple Crisp
Apple crisp or apple crumble is a staple dessert in many homes. It is easy to do and delicious. If you want to make extra crumble, you can use what you need and place the rest in a bag or container and freeze the rest to have on hand if you need to make a dessert in a hurry.
Apple Crisp
5 or 6 cups sliced apple (8 or 9 apples peeled and sliced)
3/4 cup brown sugar packed
1 tsp cinnamon
Crumble
2 cups rolled oats
6 oz brown sugar
1 cup flour soft
6 oz butter
1 tsp salt
Place the crumble ingredients is a bowl. Mix until the butter is thoroughly mixed and it starts to stick together and form small balls.
Toss the sliced apples, brown sugar and cinnamon, place in a casserole dish
Cover with the crumble mixture. Do not pack down, Just make sure the apples are covered.
Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes or until the apples start to bubble around the edges.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
