We have leg of lamb on the menu. I marinated it in lemon, garlic and onions overnight. At 7am, I turned the BBQ on high and brought it to 750F. I place the lamb on the hot grill until it charred, then turned it to char on the other side. Then I turned 3 out of 4 burners off, the 4th was turned to low and the lamb was placed as far from the heat as it could get. It was done to a medium (138F) for 11:30.

For lunch today we are having a leg of lamb off the BBQ. I will turn the heat on high, when the grill is as hot as possible , I will place the butterflied leg on the grill. When the lamb chars on one side, I will turn it over and char the other side. I will then turn the heat off under the lamb, one burner on the end will be left on with the lamb at the other end. It will continue cooking at low heat for about 3 hours.
For dinner we are having roast chicken and a Hungarian Goulash. I will post the recipe for the goulash for todays recipe.
